/fit/ I'm sick as shit right now and can't get myself to eat because I have nausea and my throats hurts so bad. It's almost 6pm and I only ate around 500 cal. How can I force myself to eat something? If I don't eat will I fuck up my metabolism? I haven't been eating much this past week since I've been sick.

If you're that sick, don't force yourself to eat. Drink your calories with whatever you can keep down (traditionally people say lemonade, a few people say milk if you can stomach it, I'd say watered down Gatorade if you have it). Dehydration is your biggest enemy.
This isn't ideal but its better than forcing down food and having it come back up.

I never thought of that. I feel so shitty I'm not thinking straight. I'm pretty dehydrated too since I have strep throat and it hurts to swallow. I'm gonna try to get some smoothies in. Thank you.
