I always got advice from "trainers" for free.
I would ask a specific quick question in between their clients.
I would feel really odd charging someone something I got for free.
Plus, there are so many frauds out there who basically count to 10 and smile.

Only one of the personal trainers are my gym looks even remotely like he lifts. The others just look skinny even standing next to other natties. All their clients are old geezers ... doesn't look fun at all.

PT is all about people skills. The vast majority of clients aren't interested in brutal honesty and getting swole. Most are middle aged people who think protein powder is steroids and heavy weights are dangerous. You'll have to pander to them with enthusiasm and will probably be asked by the gym manager, if you're unfortunate enough to end up working for a gym, to push the latest memes each month in between your cardio boxing classes.

Being a coach is probably more relevant to the wants of people here.
