Does creatine have really bad side effects?
I'm wondering if I should start consuming it.

>>39914551
no. just drink enough water and you'll be fine. it's incredible, I gained 10 pounds in under 2 weeks and got significantly stronger.
>>
Just turn in your nattie card right now. Also enjoy losing your hair.
>>
makes your hair thin as shit
>>
>>39914551
The worst side effect some people get is accelerated balding. Which can be pretty fucking bad if you've got a sperg face.

If balding is in your family don't try it
>I'm wondering if I should start consuming it.
You'd probably get more use out of caffine pills than creatine

honestly this. I tried creatine for some time, i didnt notice much or enough to warrant its use. A simple big caffeine hit before a PR day i find to be more useful for the gym

If I started it and my hair started to thin, but I stop now will it get better?
>>
>>39914719
Take Lecithin

The thinning will stop but your hair won't magically regrow. Creatine increases DHT. DHT is responsible for male pattern balding (along with genetics). If you're genetically predisposed to male pattern balding creatine will just speed it up. The hair on the forehead and temple will not comeback without a transplant. Vertex balding( the back of the head) can be stopped and sometimes reversed with rogaine.

There's a reason why most jacked guys have thin as fuck hair. A lot of that test converts into dht which wreaks havoc on your scalp.
>>
So I have completely normal hair. Will I JUST myself if I take creatine for a long period of time
>>
>>39914909
Only if you're predisposed to balding.
Family history is a good indicator.

But more important, why would you waste money on creatine? You don't need it, there's more than enough in meat and fish.
>>
>>39914909
Does balding run in your family? If yes, there is your answer
>>
>>39914757

Whelp now I know why my hairline seems to have gone back so much. Fuck.
>>
>>39915186
Try not to stress over it.

If you're really worried about it then do some research and watch a few before and after youtube videos.

You should reeeeeallly look into dermaroller/microneedles while using minoxidil. Some people have regrown hair in the temple area by dermarolling and applying rogaine. You can also look into dht blocking shampoos and conditioners.

It all sounds like it'd be expensive or time consuming but generic rogaine costs under $100 a year and a dermaroller is only 10 bucks. It literally only takes 5 minutes a day to apply rogaine.

I noticed my hairline beginning to recede slightly 3 years ago and I caught it early and stopped it in it's tracks.

I did this without dermaroller. Worked pretty well. Works as long as you still have hair in the area (even if just peach fuzz). Chuck minoxidil on twice a day and it will get thicker no worries.
>>
is creatine really that bad for your hair? I have been using it for several months and havent noticed much, but i have thick hair genes
>>
>>39914551
Bald fag here, should I try it. I got nothing left to lose. I've been shaving my head for several years now.
>>

The added strength will be extremely small and the vast majority of weight you'll gain will be water.

Creatine is in meat and fish already.
