You can even make gains with bodyweight routine. Consistency is the key. Difference would be how fast you make those gains.

Shit exercise is still better than no exercise. Are there at least dumbells? Use those if they are available
Try to up the weight as you get used to it so you make progress.
Also, you could go with the start bodyweight routine as a side thing if you feel machines aren't enough.
Hope you are able to afford a gym sometime.
