Lifting will not give you girls automatically.

Lifting, hopefully, can be part of a multi-faceted project of self-improvement that will leave you more confident, disciplined, and strong. Starting this project with lifting is good because the results are both noticable and directly correlated to the amount of work and consistency you put in. It builds discipline and gets you used to hard work. It gives one a decent foundation to improve in other ways. Maybe taking guitar lessons, or learning how to dance, seems less scary when you can squat 3pl knowing that two years ago it was just the bar? Maybe investing in nice clothes and a good haircut makes more sense now that you like your body?

Hopefully, all of this can then make it easier to approach girls, to relax, to joke, to converse, and so on. "Being yourself" stops being such a meme because you might actually like yourself.

My point is, even if you are lifting for girls, you must first of all lift for yourself. You gotta like yourself, appreciate your own hard work, enjoy the body you've built. No girl will like a self-hating autist no matter how ripped he is.
