Hey I've just started recently, the gym at my apartment is pretty limited. This routine sucks, I know, but how much? Here's my routine I do about 2x a week:
-Stretch
-2x10 leg presses at max strength
-Run 1 mile on treadmill
while(not exhausted){
-8 curls at max strength
-15 dumbbell bench presses
-15 tricep pull-down things on machine
-10 kneeling one arm row
-10 leg presses at max strength
}
-Run 1 mile on treadmill
I'm just trying to exit skeletor r9k mode and am having decent progress so far. HOW bad is this?

>10 reps of """""""""max"""""""" strength
More weight, less reps

Thanks yeah that's what I'm thinking. I was aiming for like 15-20 reps at most stuff for about a month and made barely any gains, and now that I've lowered to 10 I'm making gains every single workout set (increasing my maxes by at least 10 pounds on legs, 5 pounds on curls).

Like the other anon said, down the reps and up the weight. If you are a skellington make sure you are eating enough to make gains, but don't fall for memes like dirty bulking. Have a look at some existing programs like SL5x5 and tailor them. Just don't quit, we're all gonna make in bruh.

Thanks fellow anon. I will definitely do that. Looking forward to my next workout, I love this so much.

Read the fucking sticky
First off, good luck on your journey! Second off, yeah that routine does sort of suck. If you're trying to exit skellington mode i wouldn't reccomend doing too much cardio as this will make it harder to gain weight. programs like ICF and SL5x5 are great and you should defianetly follow a program made by a professional rather than a program that you made yourself.
Remember that gaininmg muscle is 60% eating and only 40% lifting. You HAVE to eat a lot EVERYDAY or you wont see results.
Godspeed!
can we change the first panel to say "sip"
then i will consider your post
