It's time for me to stop being a fat cunt boys. Over the past few months I dropped about 40 pounds, from 260 to around 217. My stats: 22 years old, 6'0, white male, nearly no exercise experience. I bought this thing a few weeks ago on sale, never got around to putting it together. Well its set up now, and I'd appreciate any and all help I could get with setting a workout/diet regimen. I don't want to get swoll, just healthy(wouldnt MIND being swoll though)

Eat at a deficit, lift weights.

Is there any certain way i should use this thing? Like every day how many sets of what type of shit

read the sticky, and honestly i don't think the machine will help too much, free weights are always better and a gym being the best thing. get a weight where you can only put out 5-8 reps before failing, and repeat that for 3 or 4 sets.

I mean set a weight on that machine, or if you get free weights same thing applies. do it every other day or 3 times a week with a day of rest inbetween, always leave a day of rest. it's okay to take a couple days of rest the first couple times you do it cause your muscles arent used to it but after a third time your muscles should be used to one day of rest.

I can max out the weight stack on the bench press and pull down bar, maybe 85 on the lega and butterfly curls(?), are these things made to accommodate additional weight or was this a huge waste of time and money? Not against going to a gym but that requires dealing with my generic "people can see me working out" shit
