Me:
>Start of 2016 130 lb manlet.
>Decide to start going to the gym and put on some weight.
>Actually goes really well for the first half of the year. Don't put on a ton of weight, but I see meaningful progress strength-wise.
>Summer ends, go back to college in August.
>Get slammed by an H. pylori infection, which leads to a severe case of gastritis. Can't eat half of what I used to eat, and can't cook my own food because I'm in a dorm.
>At the same time get hit by my first Crohn's flare, which leads to diagnosis.
>Hardly eat anything for 4 months, as my stomach and intestines feel like a fucking warzone, lose 20 lbs.
>Lose all strength gains.
>Lose all confidence.
>Lose all motivation.
I'm finally now starting to get it under control. I'll be on Humira soon, and hopefully that'll help put it into remission, but I fell so far. Got any advice/motivation /fit/?
Pic unrelated.

Save some time and money. Don't even bother to begin with. You're just going to give up

Maybe.
I feel like I'd rather try and give up than not try at all though.

I have ulcerative colitis which I take medication for. In the 18 months I've been on meds:
>No more liquid diahhrea
>Weight has gone from 78kg to 88kg
>People say I look better
>Feel great
Only downside is colds last longer as my meds are immunosuppressant, but once you are getting treated properly life is good. (I know crohns is much more serious but there is hope)
