Well guys I finally finished school and have officially started my job as a staff accountant at a mid sized public firm. I'm mostly in audit and I like the mix of social interaction and number analyzing I do.
But there's just one problem.
A lot of people in this line of work become fat as fuck. I've talked to a few people and they say that "long business trips and busy season hours really take it out of you"
Well fuck. I'm going on several extended business trips this busy season. I'm in Philly for two weeks in January, then another two weeks in Dallas in Feb, and a couple more until the end of April. I'll be on the road more than I am at home.
My question is how can I stay /fit/ while on these audits? Hotel breakfasts, client lunches and dinners, and general exhaustion from a working day are definitely factors. How can I circumvent these?

It's not a bad career. The only people who think being in a doctor, lawyer, accountant, investment banker, etc. career either have never done it or just aren't meant to do it.
I enjoy it. Like I said, mostly auditing for me, which means a lot of traveling and on site inventory observation, fixed asset review, etc. its definitely a job, but that's why it pays well.
Would recommend if you've got the gusto and desire.
