Get smaller bags? Calories don't matter as long as you stick to real food and a balanced amount of meat and vegetables.
Your body doesn't want to get rid of muscle, but if you don't use em it will. If you eat foods that can't be turned into muscle easily (carbs) then they will be turned into fat. Nuts have plenty of protein and dietary fat so they're a good choice.
