what did /fit/ get for the holidays?
my birthday is in a week, family and friends are asking what I want.
I need ideas. I can't ask for money directly because its rude but if anyone knows of some roundabout gift that might save me a ton of money, that works too.

>because its rude
What kind of backwards ass bullshit is this? Ask for money. If they ask you what you want and you say you want cash, that's what you want. End of discussion. Find a new family.

I always ask for things I need, which most of the time is clothes. So I got a dress shirt, two tees, jeans(levi's 541, fuck yeah), a belt and socks.

Giftcards for supps
>grow up very poor
>ridiculously poor
>every year suddenly we suddenly have a lot of groceries
>learn about Christmas "gifts"
>bragging about how we got a whole ham from "Santa"
>outcast for obvious reasons
>only 1 friend ( in similar situation)
12 years later and he bought me a really nice watch(first ever)
And I got him a really nice telescope
First ever gifts we gave that were more than food or good socks
People like you are disgusting.

>straight up asking for money is rude
Is it? I'd rather give someone money if they asked for it than going behind their back to get something they either don't want or are just going to throw it out after a period of time. I tell everyone to just get me gas cards or those prepaid Visa cards every year. Literally the same level as giving someone a gift card
