Will I lose gut fat if I add jumping rope to my lifting sessions?
I need to get rid of that belly fat..

If you burn more calories than you eat, you will lose that gut fat.
If that is what it takes to get your heart rate up and keep it up, do it.
If you're already fat, it could be hard on your knees. It might be better to run, or do elliptical instead until you lose the gut.
I am not a pro: YMMV
It won't isolate your gut fat.
You have to lose fat overall to lose gut fat, it might also be bad posture making it look worse.
>isolating fat lose
Did you even read the sticky?

I am skinny fat. Underweight with slight berr belly.
Will do that. Does also starving yourself help accelerate the situation? Remove the fat before you start building strength and muscles?

I am not trying to isolate fat.. I am just not sure if lifting only helps to reduce fat. Can you reduce fat just by lifting?

If you're "skinny fat" it's probably posture more than anything else or you're fatter than you think.
That aside, start lifting, the nice thing about starting from a non-fat point is that you see results clearly but it's best just to start lifting and slightly bulking now.

It's like this. A bit less though, but I can pinch the fat like this.. I am scared..
