Not so much, a geared lifter can get away with it because his/her body respond to less frequency(this routine hits everything once a week), and high volume, e.g brosplits.

Didn't say it was a good either, just ok. With the proper of amount of gear this would work(even on this shit routine), its a proven fact through research/reports/meta analysis, simply because low frequency can promote "satisfactory" results on geared individuals, doesn't make you super human, just enhances the process everybody goes through. People on gear can get same/more results with less stimulus, that simple.
