Increasing OHP Without Fractionals
Hey /fit/, natty anon here. I'm looking to increase my OHP after hitting the 140kg plateau. I can't use fractional plates, or test. I'm considering using Doug Hepburn's program (replacing seated OHP with standing: https://www.muscleandstrength.com/articles/extreme-powerbuilding-doug-hepburn.html)
Is this a good idea? Have any of you had any experience with programs that helped your OHP.

Um.... 140kgs is like 300 lbs.... right ?
Why you want more ?
>confused... no vid no believe.

>Why you want more ?
how much do you weigh? thats a pretty ridiculous ohp number
Dude if your OHP is 140kg you probably know more about lifting than nearly everyone else here. 140kg for OHP is fucking insane

I fucked up woops
The number is wrong but anyways how do I up my ohp without fractionals

whats wrong with with increasing reps on current max until you can add weight again at whatever increment is available? You only have whole plates?

I'm considering it but also open to other suggestions.
Plus people seem to sing the praises of Hepburn so I wanted to know if that was a good method

>140kg OHP
That's stupid impressive, unless you weigh significantly more than 140kg yourself.
I do
2 reps at 170lbs or 77kg
at
Weighing 165lbs or 74.8kg
I've been steadily making gains. I do high volume both at the 5-3 rep range and then more volume at the 8-10 rep range.
Honestly, if you're repping your bodyweight or more at OHP you'll find few people to give you advice.
>High volume
>Train 2-3 times a week
>Burn out with push press (which should be 1.2-1.3 times your OHP keeping reps the same [ratio decreases as you get a proportionally larger OHP])

Partially related, does anyone use db shoulder press instead of barbell? Thoughts on the pros/cons?
