Odd trick I've heard but haven't tried yet: go eat a thing of fries. My professor swore that the combination of salt and starch would help slow things down.

Seriously though, keep drinking fluids. Little tip: keep drinking the same thing. If you only drink tea then it'll taste roughly like tea on the way back up. Ever mix every type of soda at one of those fountains? Yeah, it's not pleasant.
