If I do a similar routine to the above (not quite the same though) where I hit my body parts once a week, when they feel less sore/not sore at all should I do small workouts on them like pushups/crunches etc until the main workout?

you can tell it's meme for one thing because the sets and reps are all over the fucking place.

5x5 is goat set/reps, if your stalling drop the weight and blast out a few more reps per set. honestly just find some lifts you like doing starting strength is pretty good but adding rows and splitting the diddlys to 3x5 is best to minimize back strain imho. also ad curls, farmers carry's, reverse grip pull ups and pic related can be good accessories when you have fuckarounditus.

You can, especially as a beginner. You can increase your lean mass while losing weight and eating a deficit.
