What's some essential shit for a beginner to keep at home? I can only go to the gym on weekends, and I need something for maintenance during the week.
I bought some dumbells and a pull up bar. Some dude told me to also buy a curl bar, is it worth it?
Lack of physical space is a problem so I can't get anything too fancy.
Goddamn /fit/ help me

just take your pullup bar apart, hang grocery bags full of heavy things on either end of the long straight part, and use that as a barbell

An out of the box solution : get a sandbag. They can be incrementally loaded (sand is cheap) and you can use them for deadlifts, squats, presses, rows (albeit a bit awkward), carries, shoulders and tosses.

Don't buy a curl bar if you have dumbells, just curl them. Pull-ups are great if you can do them.
A barbell is really golden. You can do deadlifts, bent over rows and military presses (shoulder press) without equipment. Might cost you a bit and idk if you have space for 220cm bar and plates.

I'd say a pull up bar and gym rings.
