I've only been lifting for a month but for some exercises I'm already having problems adding more weight every workout.
Should I decrease the weight?
I haven't skipped out on any workouts. I've been following my program religiously
Your program will probably have a system in place for failing, follow that.
You need to eat more
Sleep more

You wont add weight literally every workout. You'll go up quick if this is your first time lifting, but you'll pretty quickly hit your actual work weight where you have to go a few workouts before you can complete all sets without failing any reps.
Also eating more and sleeping more will help.

It's the reddit ppl. It says decrease weight.
>Progression of accessories should be done as so: when you can hit 3 sets of 12 with good form, add weight. As long as you're in the 8-12 range for your sets then you're good. If not, lower the weight

You probably started with too high a weight.

Are you hitting 12 reps on every set? If not don't add weight next workout.

No I've only been doing 8 reps before adding more weight.

Yes, reduce weight and get on a caloric deficit diet. You are fat.

If you can do 8 or more but not 12, keep the weight for next session, if you hit 12, up the weight next session. If you can't hit 8, drop the weight.
