Whenever I try curls with an EZ bar or straight bar I feel horrible

Whenever I try curls with an EZ bar or straight bar I feel horrible pain in my forearms. The pain lingers too and only goes away the next morning

But when I curl with dumbbells my forearms feel just fine

Is there a way to not get forearm pain when doing curls with a bar?

i used to get it a lot but now its gone away when i just do normal curls

if i hold the bar out with my hands in a certain position i still get it though, just depends on how much my forearm is loaded

Do laying down cable curls. It sound stupid but it will 100% only focus your biceps because there is no gravity pushing you down just goolge it.

For the nine millionth time... radial fasciitis. Basically doing curls on a bar limits the freedom of your wrist and outs the pressure on your radius and the little tiny filaments that hold muscle to that bone. That's why it doesn't hurt when your use dumbbells. Only way to fix it is to do baby weight a million times on the bar and slowly slowly work up to your actual weight over a few weeks.

when i finish an EZ bar set and put the bar down my forearms kill for like 2-3 seconds

i have this and one time went for max weight on ezbarcurl, did 60kg for 8 reps then a few dropsets
my forearms hurt for the following 3 weeks, barely could hold a milk carton

would not recommend, if you want to go heavy do dumbbell or cable with a rope

for straightbar curls go very low weight with high volume and increase weight slowly overtime, that way ive been catching up

same pham, my forearms were FUCKED up for a few months because of curls even with dumbbells so now I only do hammer curls
