it happens, OP. Just force yourself to ask if they want to hang out sometimes and exchange numbers if they do. Then if they don't hold your interest, tell them it's not working out and move on.

Eventually you'll figure out what you want and you'll be making those social gains in the meantime.

If dating is too much for you, find some local groups on meetup.com or something. There are usually hiking or outdoors groups.
