I'm just checking bodyweight means lifting your body's weight right.

So I weigh 90kg, this means I should start off benching 90kg.

OP, if you're trolling, you're meant to say squat. Benching your own bodyweight isn't as easy to misunderstand as bodyweight squats.

Since you're a beginner, you will make easy beginner gains. Don't waste these gains by lifting light weights. Take advantage of this short period of easy gains and add 140kg onto the bar. If that is your starting weight then just imagine how heavy you'll be lifting in 5+years time.
