Where do you get that number? Women's powerlifting record for the deadlift is 267kg in the 90kg+ division. You can hardly call that a hambeast like that a woman though.

what can exacerbate this difference is that women are less inclined to train upper body than men are, as it's not feminine to have big arms or a big chest, but that has nothing to do with their baseline strength, but with their training habits.

There a morphological differences between males and females though. Upright walking requires narrow hips, however birthing large brained babies requires wider hips, thus a skeletal difference between men and women. Wide hips provide more leverage for a squat, thus allowing for more weight to be moved. The stats don't lie either, look at top power lifters both male and female, if you average out the difference between genders, males will still put comparatively higher numbers on bench, while females actually put up comparatively higher numbers on squat. Of course the chemical differences between male and female bodies allow men for overall higher numbers on every lift, wide hips do give women an advantage on lower body exercises
