apparently the best way to lose fat is to keep insulin stable
apparently insulin tells the body to store or use fat for energy
>protein spikes insulin as much as carbs
intermittent fasting seems like the best way but rip gains cause low protein intake
am i being memed?

If there isn't a peer reviewed research on it, it's broscience.
the best way to lose fat is to eat less calories than you burn while keeping protein intake fairly high. the amount of fat lost is proportional to the deficit. nothing else is important unless you're already very lean and trying to get leaner.

>eat less calories
>body lowers metabolism

>body lowers metabolism
then do cardio and lift, which has been shown to maintain metabolism even on a caloric deficit

>low protein intake
Yep this sucks in IF
The amount of protien you actually need to build muscle is substantially lower than supp companies and plebs will have you think. You never really need to exceed 120g a day, people saying more have been duped. You do get some increase in muscle recovering when your go over but it's severe diminishing returns, to the point that it's not worth it.
Jump on keto, literally the perfect diet for fat loss. High fat, mid protien, and low carbs. You'll enjoy that test boost too.
