Hey guys, I'm thinking about buying some equipment for home. I've been eyeing a Gold's Gym XRS 20 Olympic Workout Bench and wanted to know if anyone who does at home workouts would recommend it. That or if they have any other at home gym equipment that won't destroy me financially.
I recommend this.

pick up a squat rack with safety pins, you can buy them anywhere from 230-1000 so you have options and you can bench safely without a spotter, also enables lots of other exercises.

get a rowing machine. you will be ottermode and fucking high class bitches.

Get a vibrator
I got that bench and rack, it's great, gets the job done, safeties are really short and only help with squats, and mess you up when benching, i sometimes hit the end part and would lose some balance so I don't use it at all now. Preacher curl extension fucks up your hands if you let it slide to much. When doing lying leg curls the foam is in an awkward position so your legs will bend forward more when at resting position.
Would recommend for something cheap, but if I had the money I'd go with a cage and different bench.
I used to use that machine back when I was too autistic to go gym. Got some beginner mass and moved on. Tbh it's just a matter of having a good barbell. The hamstring curls on this are pretty fucked btw
Look for something used on your local craigslist. Better yet, forget your pic and do what

Home gym for two years and change. Doesnt matter really what you buy, but look for equipment that isnt exclusive, ie no combo shit like benches welded to the rack etc; it limits you a lot. #1 for me though is getting something you can do alternate back exercises on. Technically you can get great workouts with barbell and bench only, but I have a bad back so getting an independent bench that I can do back raises on instead of just doing diddlies every day was important in my purchasing plan.
Also, get something used if you can, I got a bench/rack/300lbs of weight+tree for 400 bucks.
