could be some sort of subconscious mental block, maybe you're afraid of the possibility of injury at that weight? maybe you had a recent close call? even something random like a fight or a car crash could cause fear of heavy lifting, happened to me after a bad car crash

if it's not mental, chances are your supporting muscles may not be caught up enough, try isolations like back crunches, leg extensions/curls, and maybe mix up the compounds themselves with isolateral movements like split squats, lunges, stiff legged deadlifts, and possibly even footwork intensive sports
