>started running, been running 10 miles a week and consistently adding a mile a week for two months
>weighted myself today, cut 10 pounds a month
>same month that my DL went to 3 plate from 2.5 plates, squats hit 3 plate, benches hit 1platex5
is there any reason for this? am i making those mythical leangains?

What's your diet?
>>39688883
10 miles a week isnt cardio kills gains territory if thats what youre asking
>>39688883
Lots of protein, good sleep, good diet, lots of excess fat to burn and still make gains.
Could be any number of reasons.
>>39688903
nah, i'm hitting 15 miles a week and eating less.
>>39688898
random shit, ie frozen pizza, chicken etc. i don't keep count which is why i run.
>>39688905
yeah i think it might be improved form, i pulled off a 3 plate squat/dl 1.5 years ago before i slacked off due to school but have been consistently 2platelet since.

Sounds more like consistency has improved your gains more than anything. You do know consistency is key right? Almost as important as sleeping/diet.
I lifted extremely sporadically for a few years. Gains were shit, never improved, just kinda maintained which was fine at the time.
Last few months I haven't missed a single day of gym. Now I'm the strongest I've ever been.

not keeping count is you just wasting your time looking for a magic gain train to whisk you off your feet, stop deluding yourself and try harder you faggot

nah i use to cut weight eating 2.5-3k calories a day. would just run 5-6 miles, go and pig out on popeyes right after a few times a week. it works to just run and cut calories the fun way.

yeah might be this. my reps are also much less variable, ie i'll be able to maintain higher weights for longer rather than decrease.
