I've never seen one of those outside of a mid- to late-80s movie.

I think it was in a Kevin Bacon movie about suburbia and a wife who wants to get preggers.

The neighbor in the movie commuted to work (I think) on a high-end race bike with a full-blown time trials helmet. Idiotic.

Did boxing/mma back in the day.

From personal experience you get really lethargic. And fighting at a weight you train at just feels really natural.
