>Fixed deadlift form , don't squat it anymore and use my hamstring .
>Went from 108 to barely being able to deadlift 70 kg .

Eye on the prize m8, when you balance out those hams you will shoot past your old PR.

Yes at least that make me happy .
Now I can feel the muscle and contract it hard instead of just trying to get up without really understanding what my body is doing .
>>
sounds like you're doing something wrong IMO. correct form is also efficient form, and if you use correct form you should be fairly strong. my guess is that what you're currently doing is inefficient, and thus incorrect.

Same thing happened to me this summer. Fixes Dl form and was lifting alot lighter. Within 2 months I had smashed my Previous by 30kgs. Keep at it
Form is more important than lifting for your ego.

Best thing you could do is give us a video. If the form is sound then you have nothing to fear.

>tfw back is limiting my deadlift to 120kg
>>
>>39680505
do this
3x8 seated cable rows
3x8 lat pulldown
1xF pullups
do these 7 sets after ur deadlift and next time ur back will be alot stronger
>>
>3months in
>afraid to lift 140kg
>lift 130kgx5 ez
>stuck in that now for month

3 months? Wow
I've been lifting for over a year and I'm going for 135kg 5x5 for the first time this week. Gonna see how many reps I can do with 140kg right before new years. Do you use straps or other things to help? Belt?
>>
>>39680687
After I hit 130kg 1x5 I went for a 1rm and hit 145. Should have been able to do more but I didn't make 150 and when I tried 147.5 I was already tired from like 4 failed attempts at getting the bar to move off the ground.
>>
>>39680403
The fuck. You should be able to deadlift more if you're not squatting it

Going raw and natty myself. I started at lmao1pl8 and worked my way up to 130 by going 5x5 every DL session over a year period . When I had no difficulty getting 5x5 I'd increase the weight with 5kg and work it until I could do 5x5 easily there as well. I believe form is very important when it comes to the deadlift, mainly to avoid injury, but train the muscles most efficient.

I'm no expert, but I would like to advise you to decrease the weight you're pulling until you can do reps with perfect form, then increasing weight when it gets easy.
>>39681301
Damn, maybe I should just go straight for 140, 130 5x5 was 2ez4me last week.
Doing mixed grip now, thanks gymreceptionistbro
>>
>>39681338

Thanks, I might have to give that a go.
It doesn't feel very good to lift with mixed grip, but it has gotten the job done for many sessions now. All light sessions (120kg and below) are of course being done with double overhand
