Slaying abs on 'off' days?
Since its an off day, and is meant to give your body rest to rebuild your muscles, would it be counter-productive to do some intense ab work on these days?
My program doesnt involve a separate core workout right now, thats why Im wondering.

Your rest days are to rest muscle groups. As long as you didn't do major exercise on abs during your on days, you're fine.
