Do you meditate before or after working out?
I've always meditated after working out, I considered that meditating would probably relax me too much for lifting.
But a friend recently told me he meditates before working out, and that the state of mindfulness can be extended to lifting weights.
What are /fit/'s experiences with this?
gonna try it out, (just bumped)

I read that it's better to do it after, to lower the post-workout cortisol.

I don't think there's a better or worse time. It's a pretty subjective matter. Try out meditating during different times and see what works better for you.
Personally, I find that maditating in a tired state (i.e after workout, better bed, etc) is not optimal for me, so I do it either in the morning or in the afternoon.
