Why do simple sugars get such a bad rep?

the problem isn't simple sugars, it's overconsumption of simple sugars (and often in combination with a sedentary lifestyle). sugar is fine, it's just very easy to get way too much of it in western society.

Because most simple sugar is accompanied by processed garbage that had to be filled with sugar to make it palatable.
I put a frozen banana in my shake or honey wih yogurt for my pwo.

Because there is an organic food industry which has convinced a bunch of absolute retards that there's a difference between fructose, glucose, highly refined sugar, unrefined cane sugar, sugar from GMO beets and sugar from non-GMO beets.
And there isn't. There is literally no difference wahatsoever. The instant any of them touch saliva the chemical bonds break and they're all pure, identical glucose molecules.
Fucking organic/non-GMO is such a retarded meme.

But fructose and glucose are different :(

Came here to say this.
I have a serious weakness for honey so I sympathize. I usually limit it to three times a week max though.

>sugar is good
>carb is good
>more more more sugar and more carbs, even better when combined with fats
>don't be fooled by the bodybuilder and healthy balanced diet meme!
I wonder who would post such a thing?
