How many ways do you hit biceps? on my push day I am doing

How many ways do you hit biceps?

on my push day I am doing

Incline Inner bicep Curls 3 x 10 @ 30lbs
Standing Hammer curls 3 x 10 @ 20lbs
Lat Pull down 3 x 10 @ 70lbs? cable machine
Chin Ups 2 x 5 I suck at them

I do more stuff but those 4 things hit biceps.

I am 5' 10" and 30 years old, 170lbs and I cant get my arms to blow up. I've gained about 10lbs from amping up my Leg Day but my arms are staying around 14.5 inches. I feel like my arms are small compared to the rest of me.

Should I switch to 5 x 5 sets? Everything I am reading says high reps

and btw the biceps can take so much volume it's a joke, so don't be afraid to do more than 60 reps of bicep work per session.

if your goal is size, I think this will work for you. Drag curls too in case he didn't include those.

So, you are doing pull exercises on your push day? And Biceps are a very genetic thing (in my experience). I only do 3 sets of biceps curls once a week, and my arms are a LOT bigger than my friend, who is doing 3-4 more exercises. To be honest, get really strong at the compounds, like rows, pull-ups/chin-up. Because, at the end of the day, if you are a weak fuck you cannot complaing.

btw, just read how much weight you pull, and cba to edit what I wrote above, but holy fuck, you are weak af. Like really weak, sorry to say but it is the truth. Eat more and do lower reps more sets on chin ups and lat pull downs. I consider myself really weak, and I do strict bicep curls 4x8 @ 50 pounds (each dumbbell) and easily do lat pull downs 4x8 150 pounds as well as 5 x 12 pull ups.

The solution? Get stronger. A lot. You can do as many reps, sets everyday, but your shit will not grow unless your strength does. Just my shitty 2 cents from a weak cunt that had similiar problems with other bodyparts (chest).

For hitting triceps, bench pressing is a great exercise, which I assume he is doing on his actual push day(unless he is a fucking retard). And yeah, strength is a must for building muscle, and the stronger you are the more potential you have to do so.

If I was "strong" how much weight would I be doing on my incline inner bicep curls? Keep my stats in mind.


I don't see anyone in the gym doing more than 45 on curls. :s

Do bro split. Sounds gay but if you want to get big arms, you have to train them often.
Like
Quads/Chest
Hamstring/Back
Shoulders/Arms

And remember that tricep is like 2/3 of your arm.

I.e. Rows + chinups on back/upper day
curls on leg/lower day
