Is there any point doing shoulder press after bench or vice versa?
Wouldn't your shoulders be far too fatigued to do well on the second exercise

Not if u have good form, only a tiny bit, i have notice when i do chest n shoulder on the same day my body grows more aesthetic, almost as if the natural movements give an increase in gains, however doi g both on the same day takes way to much time for me so i have to split them

You should not be engaging your shoulders that much when you bench

yes, it will be bit weaker, all depending on how much volume you did and at what intensity, etc.
if you train that part twice per week you can rotate those two lifts
maybe one day heavy bench + volume ohp
and heavy ohp (or pushpress) + volume bench 2nd time
lots of possibilities
I do heavy bench with a light OHP on Monday and then heavy OHP with a light bench.

just do them at 80% 1rm and you'll be fine.
