How the hell do I go up on dumbbell press without injuring my wrists?
I can do 65lbs if I have someone spot me and help me set them up, but otherwise, the most I can do is 50lbs.
I have a hard time getting them into position, I feel like my wrists are going to snap.

I got the same problem send help
you need to work on your forearm/grip strength, especially if you're experiencing pain at such low weight. If you're lifting heavy try some wrist wraps, I'm talking like 100+.

if you can press the weight but not get it into position by yourself then you have a muscle imbalance somewhere.

Not OP but I've been suspecting this is my problem.
I can db press 75-80lbs if somebody helps me get into position. If I do it myself, my right (and only right) arm refuses to get up into position. It just stalls in the lowered, bent elbow position and I can't raise it. I'm thinking something is up with my right shoulder.
What do?

Put them on your knees and as you lay back kick them up
