/fit/, help me out here. I'm a freshman in college, and I really want to drink, but I'm afraid I'm going to get out of shape if I do. Will make it harder to put on muscle? Will losing fat be harder? Just give it to me straight, can I drink and still make it?

moderation, anon. have fun but don't be a fucking retard about it and you'll slowly learn what your body can answer.
also never drink straight from a plastic handle desu

Does that mean I can't indulge on other stuff? Like, if I'm using my cheat meal or whatever on drinking, can I not have pizza if my friends suggest it? I don't mean to be a retard, I'm just trying to figure this shit out. I'm still learning how to moderate myself ever since realizing how shit the eating habits my family left me were.
Thanks in advance to any replies, also.

first off, cheat meals aren't a thing. you don't get a cheat meal, i don't get a cheat meal, nobody gets a cheat meal. a big part of fitness is getting yourself into healthy habits and by giving your body shit once a day/week/month you're only sabotaging yourself. of course imho fitness is less important than being easily to get along with, so if your friends want to get pizza just go with the flow. you'll end up putting enough bad stuff into your body from being around other people (that's just how it is) so own your own you should be pretty strict

Cheating is breaking the rules to give yourself an unfair advantage. "Cheat" meals are just lapses in judgement that fuck up your goals. "Cheat" meals aren't like tokens you get you to spend whenever you jump on a meme diet.
Figure out your macro goals, and try to stick to them. When you fuck up and go over, realize that it's delaying reaching your goals and make that informed decision.
I"m not saying you can't drink or eat pizza. Make your own choices. Just realize that there consequences if you continuously make retarded choices.
