deload a little bit and make smaller increments.
>>39627649
Who the fuck thought this wouldnt possibly happen....
>>39627649
240kg is a respectable weight. Don't feel so bad.
>>39627649
Yeah you might be over-reaching. Reset the weight to a point that isn't too light or too heavy and start over. Or, you could just keep grinding out 235 till it feels easy.

lbs. Also respectable? Do you have any idea how strong a 240kg squat is? on a fucking novice program?
>>39627660
>>39627676
Agreed. The program says to fail 3 in a row, then deload 10% but my form has been getting worse since hitting 225
What would be a good intermediate program to run after? Been looking into madcow.

quit lifting with an ego.
You don't need to be grinding reps, killing yourself to make strength gains.
In fact, training at an RPE 8-9 is going to result in better gains in the long run.
If you've hit that hard of a wall, your sets have looked like shit for awhile now, and should have been reset.
>>39627649
You're lucky you didn't injure yourself when you failed
Just try the weight again you will get it don't worry.

Haha.
Hahahahaha! Oh, wow!

To clarify. I failed for the first time doing SL. I didn't fail the first rep attempting 240. I failed on the third set.

Show pics. Or just kill yourself
