/fit/, i've been sick on and off for months. perpetual congestion is the main problem, n i've been to the doc a bunch of times: he says it prolly some kinda viral infection and should clear up by itself- but it's been such a long timeeee (literally since the summer)
haven't been going to the gym but i'm itching to get back. would that be a terrible idea? i think my immune system's just been worn down since i first got sick n is having trouble getting back into gear. is there even a point in going to the gym when i can't put 100% in?
You never should have stopped.

>get fever
>laid up for a week
>lose five pounds
>get back to gym
>bench down thirty pounds
>even doing lmao1pl8 hurts my wrists like hell
>try and ego lift near old normal
>almost have to shame roll
>work getting busier
>no time to build back up
>after two weeks looks like I'll get gym time
>get hiccups
>hiccups last almost two days
>wake up with entire upper body stiff and sore
>thousands of hiccup reps
>neck down to bottom of diaphragm fucked
>excessive "exercise" causes another fever
>phrenic nerve all wacked out
>for another day every time I cough
>also hiccup
>scared they will start again
When I get back to the gym tomorrow I'm going to be under 1pl8 I just know it.

Really though. When you're sick you maybe take a day or two off.
If you're still sick do light weight. You can still go and maintain some of your gains instead of taking months off and losing progress.

Take some suppies, lots of vitamin c, and other shit to boost your immune system. Working out helps clear my nose.
