What sport should I start doing as an adult?
I want to stop playing video games and do something more athletic with my time. Problem is that I've never really played any sport growing up, so I don't really know what I sport I should do now that I'm an adult.
I've considered getting into table tennis or long distance skiing (I live in Scandinavia). However the first one seems slightly autistic and I'd only be able to practice skiing during the winter. Do you guys have any other suggestions or experience with this problem?
Table tennis is literally my favourite sport, fun as hell
Badminton/tennis are quite fun if you like racquet sports too

skiing seems cool.
table tennis is fun as fuck, pretty autistic, but sooo much fun.
where in scandinavia do you live? if theres a lot of rocks you could start bouldering or rock climbing.
you could hike, run or smth.
a lot of adults like to play basketball because its not as hard of a contact sport as say football.
soccer mby.
track and field?
powerlifting? weightlifting?

I live in Sweden, there's actually a rock climbing hall nearby, so I'll look into it.
It would be nice if there were some social aspect to it too

Fear not, min gode vän, ever heard of rullskidor? From what I've heard and seen they're a great alternative during hotter seasons, I see people riding them all the time during spring
Also, maybe try out a martial art? It doesn't have to be anything fancy, something like Brazilian Jujitsu or Judo if you're just starting out

I vote skiing.
I'm Australian and I visited Germany and everyone excitedly asked me if I was a surfer. Felt bad telling them I hadn't touched a surfboard board in my life. They were all genuinely jealous that I lived so close to beaches. I'm just jealous of the nice cool climate you guys have. We have people here who've never seen snow in their life.
Find a velodrome and do sprints, bloody brilliant for legs. Mountain Biking is also pretty much the most alpha sport with a social scene that doesn't include wearing spandex!

I live in Denmark and started windsurfing this spring. Great fun, and the chicks seem to dig it, even if I suck massively at it.
