I need to shave 1:30 off my 1.5 mile runtime is it possible to do that in a month? Goal is 1.5 miles in 15 minutes but I want to do it in 14:30. I have 4 weeks to do this in.

I like where your head is at but they won't allow it.
Sounds eminently doable to me.

if you already have the base for it (you been putting in like 20+ miles a week) try going to for more tempo runs (1-4 miles moderate pace, faster than your long run pace), and start running timed mile repeats at a local track or trail. You should be able to shave off seconds if you put in work, rest, and eat right

The thing is honestly I have been even running all that much so I think when I actually work at it it won't be too crazy difficult to do. Maybe if I started doing the 20+ miles a week it would smooth out.
run a lot on the treadmill and are you doing this for army?

Are you walking? Jesus fuck that's slow. Start running and don't stop no fucking walking you pussy.

you can do a couple things to shave off nearly 30 seconds outright on your run day
1) Caffeine up like a motherfucker before your timed run
2) Beets. Assuming you dont already have a good diet of dark veggies, beets have been proven to shave 3% off your time, which is hugely significant. Just eat them about 3 hours prior to the run and you're golden (Ive tried it and it really does help).

No, the reason I'm haveintbsuch issues with running is because of a leg injury I got when deployed with the army. This is a FBI PT test.
