Can I train Powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting?
I'm thinking of doing powerlifting at my gym and going to a coach for olympic weightlifting each week.

You're gonna suck at both if you try to do them at the same time.
I'd go to plg or owg if you would like this reiterated.

You'll get hurt and won't make progress at all
It's just too much to do and too much for your body to handle

I'm pretty sure you can do it. Unless you want to compete it's going to be fine.
I do it.
I train six days a week:
Sunday: Bench
Monday: Back Squat & Snatch Grip Romanians
Tuesday:Clean and Jerk & OHP
Wednesday: REst
Thursday: Conventional Dl & Sumo Dl
Friday: Dynamic Bench & Close grip bench
Saturday: Snatch
I have found this to be completely sustainable for regular training.
However, when I peak for an oly meet I go down to 4 days a week strict oly training for 8-12 weeks.
When I peak for PL(Equipped IPF) I go to 5 days a week PL training for 8-16 weeks
Literally why
oly is obviously superior just do that
powerlifting looks stupid, is dominated by fat fucks, and everyone literally moves no more than 1.7 inches on any given lift
Oly makes you jump higher, run faster, gets your whole body swole, and it looks cool as fuck
It depends what your ultimate purpose is. I used to olylift on the side of my powerlifting (while doing powerlifting competitions). But I was pretty shitty at oly lifting, and if I was serious about competing or reaching a higher level, yeah I would restrict myself to one or the other.
I didn't get injured, I thought it helped my all-around fitness, it was fun, it helped flexibility.
