How do I phase out sugar and salt from my diet? Everything that's decent to eat is filled with them. I'm at a very healthy weight and eat overall decently (no soft drinks, no juice, very rarely binge on cookies or chips), but I also love to snack at the computer.
I started buying kefir vanilla milk recently and even that has 36g of sugar per 250ml although it fills you up a lot more than juice would and is overall healthier too. Nuts? Salty as fuck. No salt is pretty boring and hard to really enjoy. Dried fruits are sugary as fuck. Most crackers are bland or salty as fuck.
So what?
Sugar = do keto
Salt = don't worry about it, it's not that big of a deal.

of course I eat some salt but without even trying you can easily eat 200% of your daily sodium intake which is shit for your heart.

How is this supposed to make me understand what I'm doing wrong? I'm clearly trying to improve my nutrition here so please educate me if I'm saying shit that's wrong.
Easiest way to cut your sugar intake is to stop drinking soda & desserts.

Sugar is complicated though, consider how much sugar is in Milk. Fruit. Also, carbs become sugar the moment they touch your tongue. Life is suffering.
You are a slave to your tongue.

sodium/potassium ratio is much more important than total amounts
standard american diet is shit for potassium which is why sodium restriction is recommended
just eat high potassium foods bro, and then some delicious sea salt
