Why should I do deadlifts? I always se DYELS deadliftin 4-5 plates

Why should I do deadlifts? I always se DYELS deadliftin 4-5 plates with absolutely shit backs.

I know it boosts your strenght, but wouldn't squats and BB rows do the same?

Are deadlifts a fucking meme?

You don't have to do any one exercise.

Deadlifts make your posterior chain stronger if done correctly but they won't give you a godlike physique, and they can and will fuck you up if you ego-lift.

Obviously if you are a powerlifter or a strongman you will have to deadlift. But unless you actively compete in either of those sports you don't have to deadlift.

Do exercises you like, try to fix imbalances and pay less attention to what other people are doing.

Not really as far as I know.

Deadlifts are quite a niche lift in that they train a fuckton of muscles and groups at once. As the other anon said they won't give you an insane physique and they bring a lot of risk but at the same time there is a reason why they are a staple in almost every program; they simply make you strong. The movement carries over to a lot of real world ("functional") movements and it strengthens your core for other lifts.

So it's not a problem if you skip them but you will miss out on the glorious feeling of standing upright while holding insane amounts of steel, then looking yourself in the eye and knowing you are alpha as fuqq
