hey /fit/ i'm changing my routine.
i'm switching from greyskull to PPL, because full body routine doesn't give me the intensity and the pump i get from focusing on just one body group. so which is the best version of ppl if i can train 4 or 5 times a week?
also od i really need those amraps? i don't want to fail a rep with those heavy ass weights.
thanks in advance

Why aren't you looking into Upper/Lower splits instead?

Why would you do a PPL routine if you can only train 4-5 times a week? If you train 5 days a week 100% and don't care about having chicken legs go PPLPP, but it's a pointless routine if you don't go 5-6 times 100%.
Add hang clean and press, and barbell rows, you're set for life

what kind of split are you talking about? could someone please post an examples of upper lower for 4 and 5 days?

how about PPL x arms,legs, x?
would that be a good variation of ppl, if i dedicated a day to arm isolation?
arm wraps are a meme. if the weights too heavy, go lighter

Just do ULxPPLx. Heavy ass weight for 3x3-5 for exercises on the first two days, then moderate weight 4x8-12 on the PPL. Abs on leg days.
I have limited time so I do
Push Pull x Push Legs x x
Pull Push x Pull Legs x x
it works good but obviously going full PPLPPLx is better. Sometimes I add additional leg day if I have the time for a 5th

Can't he just do PP with legs added in both days
