Of Course I respect them, even if they're going to quit in a week. I know that I sure as hell won't be the reason why they stopped coming.

Do I have to like them? No because that's +200% more germs and stupidity than I need during my workout.

The worst ones are the old ladies after new years. They hog all the cardio machines and disappear never to be seen again after 2 or 3 workouts.

I didn't ask for acceptance or respect when I started, I earned it as the months went by and the regulars/staff noticed my progress.

Plus, you can only help so many newbies and see them quit before you just get annoyed at the new year Zerg rush.
