Help me /fit/ I'm scared.
I've only been lifting for about six months, and in January I have to be out of the country for three weeks.
I should be able to keep up my TDEE with decent food, but I won't have any equipment. I'll only be able to do body weight exercises in my hotel room
My fear is am I going to lose too much muscle mass, or lose a lot of strength? I don't want to lose all my gains and start from rock bottom again, I only just hit 4pl8 deadlift

Why not join a gym wherever you're going?
3 weeks isn't that long. I'd hit a good ass workout before you leave, make sure your eating alot whilst your out and bodyweight training should push you through ez senpai.

I have to travel around the whole country, so I can't really just join a gym because I'll be moving around every few days
But thank you for alleviating some of my stresses, I'm just too much of a hypochondriac and too anxious about these things

if anything you'll recover and come back stronger. just do some BW exercises every other day and stretch.
you can expect DOMS again after you start lifting though, so don't start at your max once you get back. deload and slowly ramp back up and beyond.
