300mg a week is fine, you'll still see results and sides should be next to nonexistent. Watch for mood swings and such, it being your first cycle. I'd recommend doing more like 14 or 16 weeks tho, at ten you'll only be in the groove for a couple weeks until you're back off.

You realize, there is a threshold for these kinds of things? Meaning, test won't do a darn thing below a certain dosage. The dosage should at least be an oder of magnitude more than the natural fluctuation.

Just like with other substances. E.g. any doctor will tell you, the threshold for Aspirin as a pain killer is at least 800 mg. Before that it only works as a blood thinner and upset a weak stomach.

At 300 mg of test you'll most likely only risk the (at that dose very small if any) negative side-effects and do nothing else.
