I can get a 1kg bag for 70p which is enough to live off for 3 days. Obviously that would be a bad idea but oats lower the average cost of living day to day.

oats have one of the best if not THE best price/nutritional value/preparing difficulty combination of all foods
there is literally no reason not to eat oats every day for the rest of your life
