Personally, I would've been thrilled to squat 290x1 for reps after 6 months but I was very weak when I began lifting.

Yeah it's good. How much do you weigh? What dI'd you start at? I'm 6'1", 345lbs. I started lifting 12 weeks ago. Started @ 95lbs, I'm at 285lbs now. I didn't get all 3 sets, probably gonna have to delay soon.

I weigh 196lbs. When I started I did a 1RM at 245. I was able to get that heavy cause I would leg press a bunch.
