Personally I do weekly specifically because I could look shitty or great depending on the circumstances, if I only have one shot per month to gauge my progress I could get a very inaccurate view of my progress if I happened to be bloated or pumped on picture day, that being said common sense dictates that you should try to remove as many variables as possible and take all your progress pictures first thing in the morning on an empty stomach before doing any exercise
