actually could be helpful for your lifts
You shouldn't lose any muscle mass as long as your eating right. 1 week is nothing.

wait does this mean I should've taken my protein shakes?
I injured my petallar tendon 8 weeks ago. get a petallar tendon band, and get a lacrosse ball apply preasure on your petallar tendon. The reason why it occurs is because of you not doing enough mobility to open up your muscles. specifically the muscles that need to open up is the quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves and ankles. if you can get a massage every week deep tissue it will help. look at youtube videos for petallar tendon injuries.
I posted this off my phone excuse me for the errors lol

It is actually good to take a week off every once in a while, you let your muscles fully recover.

A bit of rest once in a while is a good thing, just eat right and don't go on a bender and you'll be fine.
Just don't turn it into a habit where you you rest a week for every week you work out.

Should be sticking to your macros
